Hydra - Xounta of Rigas: 1 hour & 40 min.
Easy Route |
The path, after the basketball court of Hydra, starts at the pine-forest location of Saint Fotini. As you continue along the way, you will meet the "Mill", a stone 18th century building, and the Monasteries of Holy Triada (1704) and of Saint Matrona. From the Monastery of Holy Triada the path leads to the Church of Saint Nikolaos.
From there, you will walk on an earthen path leading you to "Klisabrinia" location. While following the path, the trail gets a little tougher until you will reach the Hounta of Riga, which literally means "the edge of Riga's nose". From the Hounta of Riga, you can gaze at the deep blue of the Myrtoo Sea.
